Vendor care

Improve vendor communication without adding another admin block

Consistent vendor communication is easier when the branch separates facts, interpretation and next action.

Create one reliable weekly input

For each active property, capture viewing activity, feedback, online response, agreed actions and missing information. The input can be short, but it must distinguish confirmed facts from judgement.

Use a repeatable update structure

A useful vendor update normally covers what happened, what the market response suggests, what the branch recommends discussing and what will happen next. The tone should be direct without becoming blunt or overpromising.

Do not hide difficult conversations

A managed process should surface stale stock and price review conversations rather than produce reassuring but empty updates. The branch still decides the recommendation and conducts the relationship.

Measure properties, not just messages

Commercially, Vendor Care is easier to control as an active property allowance. Operationally, each individual property update should still be recorded so the report and workload remain accurate.
